Previously, the apex court had actually stayed the execution of the letter composed by Secretary General of Parliament Secretariat Bharatraj Gautam offering clean chit to Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana, who faced impeachment motion in the House of Representatives.Rana, who was suspended after the impeachment motion was signed up in the Parliament, retired from service on December 13.
